Piano set up. Ready for Boston.

Some days, I pace around my home or lay in bed. the lockdown didn’t help, we didn’t get a chance to meet friends in Boston. On a lot of days, there was pain in my abdomen. There was a lot of waiting by the phone for doctors or hospitals. I have been to the ER three times which is unusual for me.

I’ve started playing piano again. Our home in Boston is set up. And I’m writing again. I realize that if I’m not playing piano or writing then I’m not doing well. My therapist says at least some of my pain can be attributed to stress.

I hope to share more of our lives with you soon and learn from everyone in this community about how I can be a better, more attentive person. I’ve learned so much from you all.

Yay, Grace! Good to see you back and smiling!

Congratulations on your piano. Looks wonderful! What is the book you are playing from? I’d like to know whether it has other good songs too.

Looking forward to seeing you more. :)

Hi Rosie, it’s great to hear from you! Thanks, I really like this piano. I’m playing from the “Dan Coates Complete Advanced Piano Solos” book. There are a lot of great pieces in there and some good classics! Looking forward to seeing you more as well. :)

Thank you much for the book info, Grace! There’s really a lot in there and his other books look interesting too. I’ve seen his name before but have never played his music. Will keep it on my wish list.

Might there be a story about your piano purchase? How you selected it, where you found it, your favorite things about it, etc. I’d love to see a post on that.
